ECO-AIR
Air / Gas Treatment Systems
Biofiltration is a reliable and cost-effective
way to eliminate odors, volatile organic compounds
(VOCs) and H2S at manufacturing, and municipal &
processing facilities. More reliable than chemical
scrubbers and more affordable than incinerators,
biofiltration uses naturally occurring microbes
to biologically break down odors, solvents and other
VOCs present in waste air streams, into carbon dioxide
and water. It's a completely natural process that
doesn't use chemicals or produce wastes.
Low Operating & Maintenance Costs
Many plants are replacing their scrubbers or carbon
systems with biofilters for three simple reasons:
1. low operating and maintenance costs
2. superior reliability and performance
3. proven results and outstanding service
With their new biofilters, many plant owners are
saving hundreds of thousands of dollars each year!
They no longer have to buy chemicals like sodium
hypochlorite or chlorine dioxide that most scrubbers
need. Or they are eliminating high energy costs
typically seen with carbon or thermal systems. Biofilters
have minimal operating requirements. There are no
unnecessary or complicated controls and no expensive
hazardous waste to take away.
Proven Performance
Biofiltration is an alternative systems at treating
a wide range of odors and VOCs in a variety of applications:
• wastewater treatment plants
• fragrances and flavorings
• pumping stations
• paint spray booths
• circuit board manufacturing • food production
• D.A.F. tank emissions
• fiberglass manufacturing
• fatty acids production
• waste oil recycling
Biofilters remove and destroy odors and volatile
organic compounds (VOCs) at a lower cost for both
installation and operation when compared to any
other destruction or treatment technology. Installation
costs for a biofilter can be as much as 15% lower.
More important, the annual operating costs are 60%
to 75% less. At every point in the analysis biofiltration
is your most efficient and cost effective choice
for odor, H2S and VOC control.
