ULTRAFILTRATION -( UF )

Ultran is a proprietary hollow-fibre ultra filtration membrane designed and manufactured to remove suspended particulates, colloidal material, bacteria and high molecular weight material greater than 0.01 micron.

We provide total water solutions for the domestic, commercial, industrial and municipal market to meet the following water and waste water treatment processes.

• Surface Water Clarification :
  
  This membrane can be used to replace all conventional clarifying processes, eliminating the need for coagulant and flocculant and large clarifying tanks, media and sand filters, hence releasing land for other uses.
  
  
  
• Waste Water Treatment :
  
  In a conventional water treatment plant, there is a need to use chemicals such as coagulant and flocculant agent in large quantities. This membrane eliminates the use of such chemicals whereby reducing maintenance cost, including manpower cost.
  
  
  
• Reverse Osmosis (RO) Pre-Treatment :
  
  As the membrane filters between 0.1 to 0.01 micron, it will remove all total suspended solids (TSS) with more than 95% recovery, providing high quality feed water for the RO system.
